  • So, here's my question about this particular Ben Fold's Five lyric. Is it "I'm your nightmare little man" or "I'm your nightmare, little man"?

There are two very different meanings here.

    Damn commas.

  • Haha. I know you'll believe me when I say that I thought about that a lot before I posted it. :) Since the song is about the vengeance of the titular "angry dwarf," I think it's right without the comma. He is in fact a little man who is a (relatively) big man's nightmare.

  • I do believe you, and I also think that you're right.

As an aside, the word "titular" sounds dirty and always makes me giggle a little bit even though I know full well what it means.
